Lane closure on I-70 in October will delay traffic between Range Line and U.S. 63

One eastbound lane of Interstate 70 will be closed during the first weekend of October between Range Line Street and U.S. 63.

The eastbound lane on I-70 will be closed around the clock from 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, to 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6.

Traffic will be diverted onto the remaining open lane and ramps will continue to be open.

It is a bye weekend for the Mizzou Tigers football team, so no home game is scheduled for Oct. 4. Mizzou plays the University of Massachusetts on Sept. 27 and the University of Alabama on Oct. 11, both in Columbia.

During the Oct. 3-6 closure, crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be working on the new eastbound I-70 lanes near Boone County Route B (Paris Road), weather-permitting.
