College of DuPage enrollment up in 2025-26 school year
College of DuPage has seen enrollment growth in its total headcount, number of full-time students and number of students in its dual credit program, officials said.
The college started the 2025-26 with an increase of 6.8% in total headcount compared to fall 2024, according to a news release. Its full-time equivalent enrollment also rose by 3.1% over last year as well.
Participation in the dual credit program, which allows qualified high school students to enroll in college-level courses to gain high school and college credit upon completion, went up by 17.5%.
The Illinois Community College Board identified COD as having the highest dual credit enrollment in the state for the second consecutive year, the release said.
