If you were frequent customer of Joann Fabrics , here’s some great news.

Some months after the retail chain closed their doors for good, Michaels — a former rival — is unexpectedly helping the fallen brand.

Michaels announced Wednesday that it’s bringing a “Knit & Sew Shop” to all of its US and Canada locations. The store section will feature the Joann name on the signage as well as the Big Twist yarn, a favored collection that Michaels bought when it purchased Joann’s intellectual property back in June.

The “store within a store” approach, which makes up about 25% of a Michael’s, is currently available in 840 stores and will increase to an additional 250 locations in the coming months. It’s also available online.
