HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut Attorney General William Tong is declaring a victory over President Donald Trump and his administration.
This week, a court order began prohibiting the Trump Administration from threatening to withhold billions of funding dollars for emergency preparedness from states that don’t comply with or perform federal immigration enforcement actions.
The money being discussed is used to prevent and address everything from terrorist attacks and mass shootings to wildfires, floods and cybersecurity threats.
