CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Harrison County Emergency Squad celebrated one of its own Thursday afternoon for their years of helping out the community.

Angela Martino has been with the squad for 25 years now, and a luncheon was held in Clarksburg on Thursday in her honor. Harrison County EMS Executive Director Rick Rock read a statement of thanks and presented her with a plaque.

Martino told 12 News that she's always enjoyed helping people.

"People call us for just about everything, but to them, it's the worst day of their lives. So, you have to stay calm, you have to stay positive, you have to get them to where they need to be and I think that's the best thing that we do," Harrison County EMS Office Manager Angela Martino.
