BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — It was a jazzy night in Buckhannon on Thursday as the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra performed at West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) to kick off the college's homecoming weekend celebration.
The concert is billed by WVWC as a highlight of the homecoming schedule, offering both the campus community and the public the opportunity to hear one of the country’s most active modern jazz ensembles. WVWC President James Moore, who is also a member of the ensemble, performed with the group during the event.
