ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Local leaders hosted a groundbreaking event Thursday at Tower Grove Park.
Local leaders celebrated as the park gets ready to kick off the largest project in more than 40 years at the park.
The plan will bring a major facelift to the park, rebuilding landmarks, revitalizing the park’s facilities core, while also adding amenities like public restrooms and concession stands.
“We have the best collection of victorian pavillians in the world. So to make sure that they are still here for the next 150 years is so vital to the park as well as to the world to have this collection in tact,” said Tower Grove Park Executive Director Bill Reininger.
