ST. CLAIR SHORES – It’s not like there are legions of high-level club volleyball players roaming the hallways these days at St. Clair Shores South Lake.

But the two are still battling it out for league supremacy in the Macomb Area Conference Bronze Division all while trying to mold athletes into competitive volleyball players.
“We’ve come a long ways since the beginning of the season,” admitted South Lake coach Taylor Diamond. “And we are getting better every day.”
South Lake is apparently getting better and is also the only school undefeated in the MAC Bronze Division standings, as the first-place Cavaliers outlasted third place and visiting Madison Thursday night by a 3-1 edge.
