Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) The Meteorological Centre has issued a Red Alert for Telangana, forecasting very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in Vikarabad and Sangareddy districts during the next 24 hours.

In its daily weather report, the Met Centre also issued an Orange Alert, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places across 14 other districts during the same period. These include Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool.

The southwest monsoon has been vigorous over Telangana. The report noted that similar heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to continue tomorrow across districts including Nizamabad, Mahabu
