CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person has lost their life in a shooting on Friday morning, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).

The shooting was first reported before 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 26 on Deboer Avenue off West Arrowood Road. The Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic) confirms that one person died before they could be taken to a hospital.

Authorities have not said what led up to the incident or if anyone has been arrested.
