YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - People walking near the corner of Wilshire and Bears Den Road in Youngstown have something incredible to look at, but don't get too close.

A wasp nest is hanging from a tree above the sidewalk. The perfectly intact nest displays intricate swirls that are most commonly associated with hornets.

Judy Halko, of Austintown, spotted the nest and told her husband to take a picture of it.

A representative from the Ohio State University Extension Office in Canfield said that the nest is probably that of Multihued Baldfaced Hornets. The representative exclaimed that the nest was "beautiful" and that nests can be collected and used as decor, but the nest needs to be collected during the right season with caution.
