YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - The new owners of Youngstown's Ohio One Building celebrated with a ribbon-cutting Friday.
The building was originally built for Ohio Edison in the 1930s.
The current ownership team says they're only the third owners of the building.
Office space is about 75% occupied but they think the tenant list will keep growing along with the downtown area.
"We've got the Covelli Centre right here, we've got the Youngstown Wean Foundation Park. Today and tomorrow, we're going to have 40,000 people in downtown Youngstown. We also have the Defense Hub, which is just a few blocks away. So I believe Youngstown is moving its way up, and investing in the downtown buildings is the wave of the future," said Eric Holm, with the Ohio One Building ownership group.
