CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — A group of 10 West Virginia counties have received a disaster declaration from the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture due to drought conditions, making farm operators in several areas of the state eligible to receive emergency loan assistance through USDA's Farm Service Agency.
In addition to the 10 counties named in the disaster declaration, counties contiguous to them are also eligible, according to a release from the governor's office.
