FARGO — In the early morning hours of a home game day for the North Dakota State University Bison football team, hundreds of people can be seen lining up near the Fargodome, eager to get into Thunder Alley and set up their gear for the hourslong pregame tradition of tailgating.

The Fargodome's Thunder Alley is a parking lot space dedicated as a fan zone and for tailgating events.

For Bison tailgating, the routine is heavily indulging for many die-hard fans. The morning includes setting up their trailers, tents or buses complete with cooking capabilities; donning their best Bison-inspired, ostentatious outfit; and decorating every surface in NDSU green and gold.
