STRATFORD, Conn — Stratford-based Sikorsky has received a $10.855 billion contract from the U.S. Navy to build up to nearly 100 helicopters for the U.S. Marine Corps.

The contract tasks Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, to build up to 99 CH-53K King Stallion helicopters over five years for the U.S. Marine Corps and international military customers to use. Deliveries are expected to be made on a consistent basis between 2029 and 2034.
