SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - What’s big, fluffy and brown and white all over? The St. Bernard, of course!
The St. Bernard National Dog Show took place Friday, Sept. 26, at the Marriott Riverfront in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
This prestigious event brings together top St. Bernard’s from across the country to compete in conformation, obedience, and more.
They had over 100 St. Bernard’s attend the event. The judges look for very specific things when judging each dog.
“Because they are specialty judges, their breeders, they have been in the breed for many years, and they know structurally what they’re looking for when they compare each dog to the written standard,” said Elizabeth Crook, the Show Chair for the SBCA National Specialty.
The dog show finished with a winner’s celebration.
