DUBLIN — If NFL commissioner Roger Goodell gets his wish, the Steelers will do this every year.
OK, maybe not in Ireland. But somewhere outside of the United States.
Speaking during a fan event Saturday at a music venue called Whelan’s Live, Goodell discussed the league’s international ambitions, and they’re hardly subtle.
Goodell wants to see each team play one international game per season, 16 total. He’d also like to see current grow-the-game efforts evolve from Australia to Asia.
