Pennsauken’s junior quarterback completed his last eight passes in a row, including his second and third TD throws, as the Indians outlasted Eastern, 35-28 in a slugfest at Pennsauken’s Vince McAneney Field.

The victory left Pennsauken (4-1, 3-0) as the only team still undefeated in WJFL Freedom Division play.

The Vikings (3-2, 2-1) took a 21-14 lead in the final minute of the first half on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Nick Carrere to Wes Davis, and held it until Negron hit Jabari Sonnebeyatta in stride for a 39-yard touchdown with 39 seconds left in the third quarter.
