TOWN OF OAK GROVE, Wis. (WKOW) -- A 22-year-old Beaver Dam man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a high-speed motorcycle crash in Dodge County.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 2:04 p.m. on County Highway A, just south of County Highway S in the Town of Oak Grove.

Investigators say the man was traveling northbound on a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed and had just passed multiple vehicles when he lost control. The motorcycle left the road, entered the east shoulder, and continued through a ditch before striking a culvert.

The rider, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a tree. The bike continued moving and came to rest against a nearby house. No other injuries were reported.
