However, some parts of the UK are more forgiving to commuters than others. A recent study identified the UK city that ranks among the world's worst for commuters, and the result may surprise you.

It's not London, the UK's largest city, or even Birmingham, its second-largest. Rather, it's the country's third most populous city, home to over 1.7 million people.
