SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii (Island News) – A woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting a man with a baseball bat.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday evening in the Schofield Barracks area.

According to police documents, a 36-year-old woman allegedly assaulted a 32-year-old man with a baseball bat.

The extent of the man’s injuries were not provided.

The 36-year-old woman was later located, positively identified and arrested for Assault in the Second Degree.

The bat was also located, positively identified, and was taken as evidence.

The woman remains in police custody, pending investigation.
