PAULDING COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — A 48-year-old Bryan man is dead after a three-vehicle crash on State Route 637 in Paulding County on Sunday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old from Oakwood, Ohio was driving north on State Route 637 when he struck a car from behind who had slowed down to turn left onto County Road 138.

That car was being driving by a 31-year-old Paulding woman.

When the 17-year-old swerved left to avoid crashing into the other car he sideswiped the car and collided with a motorcycle head-on that was traveling south on SR 637.

The driver of the motorcycle, 48-year-old Lance Bolenbaugh, of Bryan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.
