FRANCONIA, Va. (DC News Now) -- Crews blocked off ramps on the Capital Beltway in Fairfax County after a vehicle crashed overnight.

Details are limited; however, the Virginia Department of Transportation posted on X around 11:33 p.m. on Sept. 28, that the I-495 Eastbound ramp was closed at Van Dorn Street in the Franconia area. The on-ramp to the interstate was also shut down.

This comes as crews completed "crash construction."
