ORLANDO, Fla. – Tropical Storm Imelda
Imelda is showing signs of strengthening as it continues to become more organized with its falling central pressure.
It’s moving slowly north but is expected to turn sharply east-northeast by Tuesday as steering currents shift.
While it’s still forecast to stay offshore of the southeastern U.S., it could track close to Bermuda later this week.
Imelda will likely continue strengthening over warm waters as it could grow larger and stronger as it starts transitioning into an extratropical system.
