Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures to start the day. The Foothills and the Sierra will likely see some shower activity during the day, while the Valley's best chance to see wet weather will come this evening and during the overnight hours. Rainfall totals for the day should stay under 0.15".

More clouds linger into Tuesday with a few showers possible, but a more impressive round of showers and storms will arrive Wednesday. Lingering showers are expected on Thursday.

Sunshine returns for the weekend with slightly warmer temperatures.
