WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Raymond John Wean Foundation is awarding $655,000 in grants to two local organizations.

Inspiring Minds (IM) will receive funds for its general operating expenses, and Organización Cívica y Cultural Hispana Americana Inc. (OCCHA) will receive funding for its workforce development program.

Inspiring Minds serves over 400 students annually and offers after-school and summer enrichment programs for younger students as well as paid internships and professional development for older students and young adults.

The graduation rate of IM students consistently exceeds the rate for Warren and Youngstown city school districts and the state.
