MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been sentenced to prison time for producing child pornography, according to the Department of Justice.
The DOJ news release said 46-year-old Jason Jones was sentenced to 210 months, roughly 17 and a half years, in prison on the charges of production of child pornography and attempted enticement of a child.
Officials said Jones would pretend to be an "attractive" teenage boy on Snapchat and would "manipulate young girls to produce and send pornographic images to him," with the victims being 11 and 13 years old.
"Jones also distributed items of child pornography and obscene material through internet-based applications to underage girls to entice them to engage in sexually explicit conduct," read the DOJ release.
Officials said they searched Jones' e
