Illustrator Scarlet Alexandra and actor and musician Toby Pugh’s love story has been cinematic, to say the least. “We met as children in southern Spain aged five and seven, and then re-met as adults and started dating eight years ago,” Scarlet shares. “Then our first date was actually a three-and-a-half week road trip around Morocco. We had only planned to hang out for a weekend to see how things went, but ended up getting on the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier. We basically turned our phones off and didn’t tell anyone where we were or that we were together,” she continues. “It was the most amazing first date, as you learn so much about someone when you travel with them.”
