Portland will finish off the month of September with a cloudy, but dry Tuesday morning that transitions to showers by the afternoon.

The National Weather Service says next in a series of fronts will bring gusty winds, especially to the coast, and could include a thunderstorm or two.

Portland will see afternoon showers and a high temperature of about 70 degrees. Winds could gust up to about 25 mph at times.

Rain will continue overnight and into Wednesday. Portland has chances of thunderstorms at 15-20% through the evening. Wednesday’s high will be about 67 degrees.
