The month may have changed overnight, but the weather has not.

Much like Tuesday ended, Wednesday started off rainy in Portland.

And things aren’t likely to get any drier anytime soon.

Showers and even thunderstorms are likely Wednesday during the day, according to the National Weather Service in Portland , with a chance of more of the same after 5 p.m.

Gusts of wind as high as 22 mph are also possible.

Expect between a tenth and a quarter of an inch of new rainfall, though even higher amounts are possible during a thunderstorm. Wednesday’s high is expected to be around 64 degrees.

Showers and wind gusts could continue into the night.

Showers return Thursday, though the chance of precipitation drops from 90% on Wednesday to 60% on Thursday, and the high will inch up to 67 degrees.
