CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Roper St. Francis Healthcare will host two free breast cancer screenings.

According to a Roper St. Francis Healthcare Facebook post, the screenings will take place on Oct. 9 and Oct. 25. Those interested can register here:

Oct. 9 - Roper St. Francis Community Breast Cancer Screening Event • 5 to 7 p.m. at 2145 Henry Tecklenburg Drive, Suite 130, Charleston, SC 29414

Oct. 25 - Roper St. Francis Community Breast Cancer Screening Event • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 300 Callen Blvd Summerville, SC 29486

There are limited spots for both dates.

Mammograms may be available on the day of the event for individuals who meet the screening criteria established by the providers, according to Roper St. Francis Healthcare.
