SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - South Burlington Police are investigating an apparent case of political violence on Monday night in which a local resident was attacked by a suspect with a stun gun.

Drew Shatzer says he often flies a Palestinian flag on the back of his car.

It was on a normal trip to the South Burlington Library on Monday night when he discovered a man lurking behind his car.

“I walked around to where he was. I didn’t know if he was letting air out of my tires or maybe he put an AirTag down there,” Shatzer said.

Instead, he discovered that the man had placed two stickers on his car -- one with an anti-Hamas message and the other aimed at the Iranian military.
