FARGO — The Interstate 94 Red River structure repair project is about a week away from completion, but traffic is expected to be impacted for the next few nights.

Construction on the bridge has been ongoing since late April. Westbound lanes will be reduced to a single lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, while eastbound lanes will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday night.

Justin Oss, transportation engineering manager for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, said crews are adding finishing touches this week, including striping, guardrail work and final deck spring system preparation for the winter months.
