(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento City Council released a term sheet providing a basic overview of the expected compensation for the newly annoucned next city manager, Maraskeshia Smith.
Smith's three-year contract includes a base pay of $399,000.
According to the term sheet, the long-time city administrator will receive the equivalent of 25-30 days of leave a year.
Those days are made up of 80 hours (10 days) of vacation leave standard for city employees, though in her first year, she will only earn roughly 40 hours since new employees do not accrue vacation time in their first six months.
Smith will also receive 160 hours (20 days) of "management leave," 80 of which are standard for managers. The other 80 appear to have been negotiated for her contract.
