GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Community members are invited to help refill the pantries of five local charities that provide food for people throughout the valley during the Grand Valley Interfaith Network's (GVIN) Fall Food Fest.
Throughout the next two weeks, people can grab an empty shopping bag with customized shopping lists at three locations: • Peace and Justice Center Resource Desk, located in The Center for Independence at 740 Gunnison Ave., on Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. • The community table at the Mesa County Central Library, located at 443 N 6th Street, on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon. • The community table at the Mesa County Libraries Clifton Branch, located at 3270 D 1/2 Road, on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
On Saturday, Oct. 18
