The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has pulled more sunscreens from shelves due to protection fears.
On Tuesday, the TGA announced a further 10 sunscreens had been recalled or paused due to a base formulation that may not meet required SPF standards.

It comes after Ultra Violette’s SPF50+ Lean Screen was voluntarily recalled after the sun protection was “well below the claimed SPF”, including a test that reported a result as low as four.
The manufacturer of the Ultra Violette formulation, Wild Child Laboratories, have since received its preliminary SPF testing results.
“The preliminary testing indicates that this base formulation is unlikely to have an SPF greater than 21,” the TGA website read.
