Delays in construction continue to plague the reopening of the Issatik Co-op in Whale Cove.
Co-op board president Stanley Adjuk said there was a setback on the drilling of the piles.
He said that delay caused construction to be halted for about three weeks.
"They're up and going again now," said Adjuk. "We had hoped the framing would be all done by now, but it still hadn't been started by this past Tuesday when I had to leave town.
"So, the framing still has to go up and the concrete still has to be poured, so we'll see.
"We're still hoping to have it finished by April, at the latest, but I'm sure there will be some more hiccups between now and April, so we'll see how it goes between now and then."
Adjuk said it would be nice if they could have the building closed-in before winter hi
