NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department has confirmed to WSMV4 that some officers were injured during the arrest of a domestic violence suspect on Wednesday.
MNPD reports that officers responded to a domestic violence call on Lafayette Street at about 2 p.m.

Officers were attempting to arrest a suspect who reportedly threatened to kill the victim.
During the arrest, the suspect resisted, injuring some of the officers involved. Eventually, the suspect was tased and taken into custody.
