NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was fatally shot Wednesday, Oct. 1 in New Orleans East.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, a man was found with a gunshot wound in the 12900 block of Ashland Drive around 5:43 p.m. He was declared dead on the scene.
