NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) -- Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for local contractor Donald Reboul, who is accused of taking nearly $100,000 from a family without completing the contracted work.

The homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims that Reboul, through his business Coastal Custom Builders, was paid nearly $100,000 to begin construction in May 2024. However, the homeowner alleges that Reboul failed to pay subcontractors, leading to liens on their home.

"Construction had started in May and we hadn't heard from the contractor since they supplied the concrete," the homeowner said.

The homeowner explained that after initial contact with one subcontractor, more subcontractors came forward, but they were not visiting the property. Instead, the family began receiving letter
