An 85-year-old woman from Salisbury was killed Wednesday in a crash with a large truck in Chariton County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 11:28 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 24 and Missouri 128 when the woman, who was driving a 2008 Ford Taurus, pulled out into the path of a 1994 Kenworth T4 and was struck, according to the crash report.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
The driver of the truck, a 44-year-old man from Glasgow, was not injured, according to the crash report.
