WATERBURY, Conn. — The Ocean State Job Lot in Waterbury has a new home on the same street it has existed for years.

According to store officials, the Waterbury location has moved from 771 Lakewood Road to 855 Lakewood Road.

On Wednesday, Ocean State Job Lot officials announced that the new store has opened its doors.

The location sits on 37,000 square feet of retail space in a plaza that Ocean State Job Lot bought earlier this year.

The store is operating out of a formerly vacant building that was previously occupied by Bernie’s and Jump Zone.

The new spot offers nearly 10,000 more square feet of shopping space than the original location, providing customers with a better shopping layout, easier access, additional parking and more convenience.
