VIENNA, Twp., Ohio (WKBN)- A driver crashed early Thursday morning in Vienna Township after police clocked him at over 100 mph.

It happened just after 1 a.m. on Route 82 near Sodom Hutchings Road.

The Vienna Police Department said the driver of the pickup truck passed an officer going 107 mph.

By the time the officer caught up, the truck was found crashed in a ditch. Police said the driver was not injured, and there is no word on whether any charges will be filed.

Police did have to close the westbound lanes of Route 82 after some nails flew out of the bed of the truck, but everything is back open.
