BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) - A popular local market is celebrating a big anniversary by thanking the public with a three-day event this week.

The Amish Market on South Avenue in Boardman is celebrating its 12th anniversary with food, furniture, sweets and tents in the parking lot.

The market’s Fall Anniversary Event kicked off Thursday with dozens of vendor specials and specialty foods like meats, apple cider, pork, lamb, chicken, apple butter and much more.

Underneath tents in the parking lot, workers are cooking and serving different foods as well like homemade applesauce, candy and caramel apples, and a variety of fresh meats.
