AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A music festival will paint the Austintown Township Park pink on Sunday.

It's the third year for Pink Out Mahoning Valley.

The event is not a fundraiser. It's to recognize those who have seen any form of cancer go away, and to support others who are working to reach a similar status and give them a break from thinking about cancer.

"This is a break from thinking about your bills, and it's even a break from thinking about your illness and what tomorrow is going to bring because we come together, we support each other and it's a day to put all of that down, put it aside, and just say we're here for you and we're going to celebrate life," said organizer Jenah Shank.

Along with the approximately 15 music acts, there will be various vendors and food concessions.
