Scene outside synagogue where two dead and suspect shot after suspected terror attack

Manchester’s council leader says the city ‘stands with our Jewish community’ following a fatal attack on a synagogue in Crumpsall.

Police descended on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue on Middleton Road in Crumpsall at 9:31am on Thursday morning (October 2).

The force has s ince confirmed officers shot a male suspect dead, and two victims have also passed away . Three more victims are also seriously injured.
