PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Four days after a body was found floating in the Tualatin River, officials have identified the man.
On Sunday, paddleboarders near Brown's Ferry Park discovered the body and notified law enforcement.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, as well as several other law enforcement agencies, responded to the scene and quickly recovered the body, officials said.
Shortly before 11:30 on Thursday, the Sheriff's Office announced that the body had been identified as Joe Jacob Winn, 42, from Tualatin.
Authorities said that they don't believe there was any foul play in the death, and there is no danger to the public.
