Police confiscated 50,000 fake cigarettes when they stopped a driver who was using his phone on the motorway.
Officers spotted the driver speaking into his handset as he drove on Junction 13 of the M6 Southbound.
When they pulled him over, the man pretended his wife was in labour.

He also provided false details but police saw through his lies and found he was actually disqualified from driving.
They also discovered 50,000 counterfeit cigarettes stuffed in his boot.

Staffs RCT, who posted about the incident on X on Thursday (October 2), said: "We stopped this (car emoji) M6 SB J13 due to mobi
