Extreme meteorologist, inventor, and legendary storm chaser, Dr. Reed Timmer, visited the Miller Theater in Augusta on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. The WJBF Weather Team had the chance to speak with him ahead of his tour. Chief Meteorologist Jenna Petracci and meteorologists John Lynn, Miller Hyatt, and Avery Gray asked him several questions about his show, his experience storm chasing and with disaster recovery, and of course, Hurricane Helene.
Reed commented on the fact that Helene wobbled eastward last-minute, putting Augusta in the worst spot possible.
