DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) -- A bunch of Downtown Decatur eateries are putting on and promoting a fall festival later this month for a good cause.

Food businesses such as Coney McKane's American Eatery, Jimmy John's, the Original Del's Popcorn Shop and CM Catering are presenting the Downtown Decatur Fall Family Festival on Saturday Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. These restaurants and shops are also looking to grow this celebration into a yearly event with a strong foundation this time around.

This festival will also double as a fundraiser for Huntington's Disease. With the support of additional downtown businesses, the fest will cover Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue.
